Angelini Pharma Establishes Global Collaboration with Cureverse for Brain Health Innovation
Kabaran Jabar, - Angelini Pharma officially signs an exclusive option agreement with Cureverse Inc. to develop and commercialize CV-011, a novel investigational compound currently in Phase 1 clinical trials. CV-011 has broad potential in the treatment of various brain health diseases, including epilepsy and Alzheimer's.
Cureverse will receive an undisclosed initial payment, as well as being entitled to additional payments contingent on certain milestones and future royalties.
The company also retains the commercialization rights for CV-011 in South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
This collaboration combines Angelini Pharma's strong portfolio in brain health and Cureverse's early development expertise.
The CV-011 asset is expected to be able to modify disease by activating the protective pathway regulated by the Nrf2 factor, providing new hope for sufferers of brain health disorders throughout the world.
